Farmers' markets in Provence

Weekly markets are held in many villages of the Vaucluse. There you can buy regional food and specialities such as vegetables and fruit, cheese, cold cuts, herbs of Provence, honey, olive oil and much more. You can also find handicraft products such as typical Provençal wickerwork, hats and souvenirs or antiques stands.

We like the Sunday morning market in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue very much, it reflects the whole life of the region. In addition, it is fun to walk through the lively streets of the old town, to try something here and there and to shop. The best thing about it: you don't need a car. The market starts a few metres from the holiday home La Marisol.

Our favourite alternative is the market in Coustellet, which also takes place on Sunday morning. There you will find a particularly wide range of regional producers.
